This hotline is staffed 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Connect to Recovery (C2R) is staffed by Peer Support Specialists and Community Navigators, who bridge the gap between people seeking care and providers. They work directly with Participants on-site at various locations around McHenry County to provide Peer Recovery Coaching.

These locations include all hospital emergency departments, community resource days, and recovery-specific events. Call to Connect to Recovery at 815-347-0385.

    • Call the hotline for assistance to receive free onsite, one-on-one non-clinical Peer Support 
  • What is C2R Recovery Coaching? 
    • FREE Recovery Coaching, in-person and over-the-phone, focused on personalized recovery pathways and goals.
  • What makes C2R unique?
    • We emphasize curiosity and understanding the unique individual’s needs, meeting them where they are and continually checking in to follow up on their successes and challenges. Our overall goal is to empower individuals to build their recovery capital to sustain long-term recovery, utilizing multiple recovery pathways, encouraging connection and fostering community.

    • Call the hotline - there is no insurance required.
  • I’m wondering if you offer support after initial contact - what does that look like?
    • We emphasize follow-up recovery coaching support to connect you with support groups and recovery-based communities.
  • I have questions about accessing free resources, referrals, and community programs for multiple recovery pathways.
