Connect To Recovery

Connect to Recovery is a direct access pathway for Medical Staff to work with Community Navigators. Use this hotline to help folks take the next step on their path of recovery.

Does your patient want to talk to someone who can relate?

Recovery is more than just sobriety. It’s a lifestyle and a community. A crucial factor in your patient’s commitment to recovery is connecting and integrating with a recovery community.

A support system built of positive new relationships starts with a DSP.

New Directions Addiction Recovery Services invites Direct Service Providers to use this hotline and connect people experiencing substance use disorder with our Community Navigators. Connecting your patient with a Community Navigator can help them feel motivated, accountable, and not alone.

Staffed by Peer Support Specialist Community Navigators with lived experience in SUD recovery.
Community Navigators bridge the gap between people seeking care and providers by working directly with Participants providing peer support & building working relationships with community organizations. By nurturing these pathways to recovery, the likelihood of sustained abstinence from chaotic use is achieved.
The Process

The working relationships developed during this process increase Participants’ chances of avoiding a recurrence of use, as Care Providers now have Community Navigator liaisons to aid in Participants’ recovery journey.

  • If appropriate placement is not available at the time of assessment, the CN will provide access to community support until placement is secured.
  • CNs assist with transitions from different levels of treatment available. For example, if you are placed in a detox center and want to proceed to an inpatient treatment level program.
  • AWO connects you to community-based recovery support.
  • CNs assist Participants in developing a safety plan.
